Terms and Conditions

All persons wishing to make a reservation should carefully read the following terms and conditions. His contract is with Perú Essence S.A.C., registered in Cusco, Peru. These conditions apply to your booking and form part of your contract. By booking, you agree on behalf of yourself and all those named in the booking (including minors and people with special conditions) to be bound by these terms. A contract will exist when we accept your booking and issue our confirmation invoice or email.

This agreement is governed by Peruvian law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Peruvian courts. All correspondence will be sent to the main passenger unless otherwise indicated. You must be at least 18 years old to book a tour with Perú Essence. The tours are not for resale.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing our website or digital channels, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, we recommend not using our online services.

Peru Essence provides booking, organization, and sale of travel services (packages, excursions, accommodation, transportation, and personalized experiences) operated directly or through reliable third parties.

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Not use the site for illegal purposes or actions that could disrupt its operation.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of Peru Essence.
  • All prices are expressed in U.S. dollars (USD).
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, deposit, or secure payment gateways.
  • Bookings are confirmed only after full or partial payment, as specified in the quotation.
  • Any commissions, fees, or charges applied by banks, payment platforms, or card operators are the client’s responsibility. Peru Essence is not responsible for covering these costs.
  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the start of the service will incur a 50% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the start date will incur a 70% charge.
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance or “no-shows” are non-refundable.
  • In the event of force majeure (strikes, natural disasters, route closures, government decisions), Peru Essence will coordinate rescheduling or partial refunds according to the policies of the involved providers.

Peru Essence reserves the right to modify itineraries, suppliers, or dates when justified by circumstances beyond its control, always ensuring an equivalent or superior alternative.

Several services offered are operated by third-party providers (airlines, hotels, local operators, transportation companies) who maintain their own conditions and policies. In the event of cancellations, changes, or forcé majeure, Peru Essence will comply with the terms set by these third parties, which will be clearly communicated to the traveler before or during the execution of the service.

Peru Essence acts as an intermediary between the traveler and the final service providers (hotels, transport companies, local operators). The agency is not liable for losses, delays, or damages resulting from acts or omissions of these third parties.

No responsibility is assumed for fortuitous events, delays, or cancellations beyond our control. In any case, Peru Essence’s liability is limited to the amount effectively paid by the client for the contracted services.

These terms are governed by Peruvian law. In case of disputes, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lima, unless otherwise required by law.
