Day 01 :

Arrival in Cusco – Sacred Valley

Reception at Cusco airport and private transfer to your hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The rest of the day is reserved for rest and proper acclimatization to the altitude. The journey to the Sacred Valley already offers the first impressive views of Andean mountains and fields.

Day 02 :

Ollantaytambo – Maras – Chinchero – Moray

Ollantaytambo: An ancient Inca ceremonial and urban center, where original streets and structures are still in use. Its imposing walls and terraces narrate stories of engineering and spirituality.
Maras: A unique spectacle of thousands of salt ponds arranged in terraces, reflecting white and golden hues under the Andean sun.
Chinchero: A charming Andean town, famous for its traditional weaving workshops, where local women proudly demonstrate the ancestral art of textiles.
Moray: A set of circular terraces that functioned as an Inca agricultural laboratory, symbolizing innovation and deep connection with Pachamama.

Day 03 :

Machupicchu

Early departure to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. Bus ride up to the citadel of Machupicchu, an architectural and spiritual wonder of the Andean world. We will explore its temples, plazas, and terraces (according to the chosen circuit), gaining insight into its profound ceremonial significance and the Incas’ cosmic vision. Return by train and transfer to Cusco.

Day 04 :

Sacsayhuamán – Qenqo – Tambomachay – Puka Pukara – Qorikancha – Cathedral

Sacsayhuamán: A monumental stone structure that preserves the memory of rituals and celebrations dedicated to many of the most important deities within the Andean worldview. Its zigzag walls reflect mastery in megalithic stonework.
Qenqo: A sanctuary carved into rock with underground galleries and altars, linked to agricultural and astronomical ceremonies.
Tambomachay: A sacred water site, with canals and fountains symbolizing purification and life.
Puka Pukara: An architectural complex that may have served as a checkpoint and military outpost, strategically located.
Qorikancha: The ancient Temple of the Sun, the most important spiritual center of the Inca Empire, whose foundations still support colonial constructions.
Cusco Cathedral: A majestic work that combines colonial art with Andean symbols, preserving altarpieces, paintings, and sculptures of great historical value.

Departure from Cusco
